Welcome in 2016 at the coolest spots in town (without the kiddos in tow) !

High five mamas! We made it through 12 months of the year. Through school holidays, the horrendous humidity, random rainfalls, T8 warnings, a scorching summer, Halloween, your Christmas work party and not to mention the tantrums, the the spit-up, the fighting and just about everything in between! Phew. Now give us a drink! We don’t know about you, but we have never been more ready to celebrate what an amazing year 2015 was. And for everyone staying in Honkers (which is way more than you think) for New Year’s Eve, we are in for a good one. The hard decision is just which party to choose…

Rat Pack Party- The Woods

Fuel up for the night from 6-9pm with The Woods Guilty Pleasures Set for $348. The menu features all the goodies from The Woods Nibbles Menu, starting with Guacamole & Chips, Mac & Cheese, Chorizo & New Market Sausage, and finally the Cookie Skillet… perfect for starting off the big night. When you’re done, you can enjoy a Rat Pack-themed party with Sinatra tunes, games and prizes (you could win a bottle of bubbles or a round of shooters for your table!). Le DJ Supper Club – Zafran

Head underground this NYE with Zafran for their special Le DJ Supper Club. Ring in the new year at this super cool bunker-like space in the heart of LKF with free-flow beer, wine and drinks and complimentary nibbles from the talented Catalan chef. Of course, it’s all about the music and the DJ will be spinning songs to get you excited for 2016! As the clock strikes midnight, cheers the New Year with a glass of bubbly and start of the year off by dancing ’til dawn. Nude Noir New Year’s Eve – Aqua

If you want an evening of seductive revelry with the best view of the Hong Kong harbour, then Aqua should be your go-to. Lost In Time Festival, NYE at Sea – Hushup x Beatship

Looking for a more adventurous way to celebrate the New Year, mama? Beatship has teamed up with the crew behind Secret Island Party to bring you a unique 2-night event at sea! That’s right, party on the high seas this New Year’s Eve with an incredible line up of DJs that includes James Zabiela, Janette Slack and Frankie Lam to name but a few. Expect a mix of techno, house, hip hop, UK garage, ghetto funk and disco throughout the night as well as stacks of entertainment. We’re talking comedy, time travel cinema (whatever that is!), drag queen bingo, immersive theatre, yoga and more… this is going to one awesome festival! Check-in and boarding is from 6-8pm on 31 December, and the ship sets sail at 8.30pm, returning at 9am on 2 January. Early birds ticket sales end on 21 December!

We already gave you the heads up on this party last week, but just incase you missed it, here are the details again: Stockton is offering early bird guests a free bottle of champagne for a table of 4 or more (from 6-10pm) Then from 10 pm onwards, the party really begins; $580 will get you FREE FLOW alcohol until 2am and at 1am free flow canapes! The Pawn – Let’s Go To Wonderland

The Pawn is a Sassy favourite and they know how to host an awesome New Year’s Party. This year the theme is Alice in Wonderland, so expect a whimsical world at their Botanical Bar complete with rooftop games, bar adventures, special entertainment and a DJ all night long. ‘Celebration’- A Madonna themed party at DiVino

The Queen of Pop reigns supreme as DiVino hosts ‘Celebration’ a Madonna themed New Year’s Eve party. Madonna mad party goers will arrive to a drink of pomegranate martini (Madges fave cocktail, didn’t ya know?), followed by a five-course ‘celebration’ menu with some of her favourite dishes and desserts. The party package is priced at $888 per head and includes a welcome cocktail and a sit-down dinner with music from resident DJ’s John & Tony, mixing Madonna, house vocal mixed 80’s and dance. All you Sassy Cleopatra’s out there can ring in the New Year in style, disco-style, at Mahalo’s Soul Train party hosted by the DJs of FuFu.
