You wait forever for a great baby superstore to open up in Hong Kong, and then two come along at once! Hot on the heels of the opening of Baby Central in Wong Chuk Hang (see our full write-up here), Tiny Footprints is a new contender on Duddell Street… and believe us, it’s gorgeous! With a cool grey interior, a handy feeding/changing room and tons of carefully-chosen brands with a strong Aussie influence, you’ll head to Tiny Footprints for gifts, treats and your everyday items, like diapers and formula.

Tiny Footprints is still in its soft opening period, so the friendly staff are very apologetic about the state of the place, but to us it looks pretty much perfect. True, when we were there the store was pretty much empty, but we can imagine on a packed weekend day there would be a slightly less zen atmosphere, as the aisles are fairly narrow!

Mamas-to-be will be thrilled to find out that fab US maternity brand, Isabella Oliver, is stocked at Tiny Footprints. There isn’t a huge selection, but they’ve chosen a good range of basics, from tank tops to dresses and jeans. They also have BONDS maternity underwear, which apparently is a brand that’s an absolute institution down under. You can shop for baby goodies from BONDS too while you’re at it – lots of lovely soft baby-gros and little leggings. Yummy!

For kids, there are Hunter wellies and adorable Walnut slip-on trainers (as seen on Suri Cruise no less) in tons of cute colours that are perfect for summer. Check out the selection of swimwear for little ones, including Sandy Feet Swimwear, once again from, yep, you’ve guessed it, Oz.

I loved the choice of baby swaddles (including Aden + Anais and Olli Ella), sleepwear and blankets – I’m a huge sucker for anything Dwell Studio, and was seriously considering buying my daughter a crib bumper, in total denial that she’s already too old for one! Lisa from Tiny Footprints told me the intended age range of the store is from 0-5, but there is definitely probably more for teeny-tinies so broody mamas will find themselves melting over the baby goodies!

When it comes to diapers, formula, food and snacks, Tiny Footprints also has you covered, stocking Pampers, Huggies and Seventh Generation for nappies, and Ella’s Organics, Organix and many many more brands of munchies. There’s definitely a bit more of an eco-friendly tilt to their product ranges, which is a welcome addition in Hong Kong.

Finally, one more must-have while you’re stocking up for your little ones – grab a tube of Suvana’s Paw Paw & Honey Balm for chapped lips, nappy rash and dry skin. It’s the New Zealand equivalent of cult product Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, and it’s definitely going to be your new beauty love!
