Lofty Luxury: Tree Top Lofts in Singapore

Looking for a unique family getaway that’s a true adventure? How about a treetop hotel in Singapore? Pack your bags ’cause we’re leaving the concrete jungle behind for Resorts World Sentosa’s two new tree-top lofts, Angsana and Tembusu. Tucked away in a private corner of the tropical jungle, these totally luxe hideaways are carefully positioned amidst the lush greenery and are nestled a whopping 12 metres in the air amongst the trees. In short: this is a back-to-nature experience that the kids won’t forget.

Completely hidden under the canopy of the surrounding forest and blending into its environment flawlessly, these massive one-bedroom log cabins in the sky take ‘getting away from it all’ to a whole new level. But just because you’re surrounded by nature don’t think you’l be roughing it! This is still 5-star luxury that doesn’t sacrifice comfort and in fact piles on the amenities – like personalized butler service. Inside you’ll find a mega 73 square meters of modern design accented by rustic natural wood-panel walls, floors with straw-infill and double-height ceilings. One of the best parts (besides the massive walk-in closet), are the large sliding glass doors which take you out to more than 90 square meters of terraces and timber patios, allowing you to take in fresh air and the serenity of the surrounding greenery. A glass of wine on the terrace listening to the sounds of the forest as the sun goes down? Oh, twist my arm.

And apart from close-up views of the surrounding rare and heritage trees, as well as an occasional glimpse of the natural wildlife in the area, you also get panoramic view of Mount Faber to the north and the forests of Sentosa to the South. And what’s more, the location for the tree top lofts was chosen after extensive site studies and consideration to the existing ecology of the area in order to minimize any further destruction of natural greenery that may occur with the construction. And after the completion of the lofts, native secondary forest species were planted to reforest the bare ground and to integrate this growth with the adjoining forest. Don’t you just love when serious luxury is eco-friendly?

The rack rates for Angsana and Tembusu are S$3000++ a night. For more information and to make a booking, contact [email protected].
