We scour the streets of Hong Kong on a daily basis to bring you the best of what we feel this city has to offer for parents, but now we want to hear what you think! For the first time in four years, and in honour of Sassy Media Group’s tenth anniversary year, we are launching the Sassy Mama Best Of Hong Kong Reader Awards. It’s an opportunity for you to tell us about all your go-to family-friendly businesses and brands, in return for the chance to win a two-night stay at a luxury four-bedroom villa in Koh Samui courtesy of The Luxe Nomad* (worth USD $1,740).

“Baan Benjamart” is situated right on Bophut beach, within the exclusive Dhevatara Residence. It comes fully staffed with a private chef and daily maid service, so you really can relax with the whole family in tow. There’s also an infinity pool (complete with shallow area for the kids), an al fresco sala and amazing sea views. Breakfast and airport transfers (one round trip) are also included.

Cast your vote below on everything from your top family brunch spots, date night picks and happy hour bars, to your go-to kid’s play areas and party venues. The awards will 100% be voted for by you, our readers, and is our way of giving back to the places that make Hong Kong such a great place to live. Don’t feel like you have to answer every single question, you can simply skip any that don’t apply to you.

Of course, we’ll be throwing a big bash to celebrate all the winners at a top secret party venue in June. Everyone who casts a vote will automatically be entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets to attend, giving you the chance to rub shoulders with Hong Kong’s movers and shakers.

Every winner will be added to Sassy Mama’s Hong Kong Directory as a featured listing for one calendar year, and will be invited to the celebratory party in June.

*Terms and conditions:

1. Only one set of votes per person or email address will be counted. Multiple votes by the same person will not be counted.
2. Sassy Media Group’s decision on the winners of each category in the Best of Hong Kong Reader Awards will be final.
3. All entrants must be aged 18 or over and reside in Hong Kong. It will be Sassy’s sole decision as to whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met and we may require evidence or confirmation from entrants before awarding prizes. Winner(s) will be picked based on answers submitted.
4. The first prize entitles one winner to a complimentary 2-night stay at Baan Benjamart. Should the guest want to extend their stay, preferential rates are available at 15% off (the discount cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion that is ongoing). Breakfast and airport transfers (1 x roundtrip) are included. Guest is to pay separately for any other rentals or services. The maximum capacity of Baan Benjamart is 8 people. Flights to and from the property are not included.
5. The winner of the first prize of a complimentary 2-night stay at Baan Benjamart can redeem their prize any time from the day the winner is chosen until a year after the winner has been chosen. This is only valid during low and high season and subject to black out dates and availability (Black out dates: 20 Dec – 31 Dec 2019; 01 Jan – 10 Jan 2020; 23 Jan – 02 Feb 2020).
6. All prizes must be claimed within 5 business days of our notification of winning unless otherwise stated. If a prize is not claimed within this period we reserve the right to select an alternative prize winner or not award the prize at all.
