Flex Studio Family Yoga Festival

Join Flex Studio in celebrating their tenth anniversary as they support Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation with an action-packed Yoga and Wellness Festival! Cyberport Podium will be transformed entirely into a family-friendly haven for all yogis young and old. Mamas and bubs can try their hand at yoga slacklining, AcroYoga, dance and movement classes, art and crafts with the chance to catch special guests YogaSlackers in action.

A wide range of food vendors will also be on hand to dish up plenty of nutricious and delicious meals and drinks, a great opportunity to learn a little more about living a healthy lifestyle mama!

When: Saturday, 14 November, 9am-6pm
Where: Cyberport Podium , Telegraph Bay, Hong Kong

Night for Nepal YAW

A Night for Nepal

Join Room to Read and the Room to Read Hong Kong Chapter Young Professionals Committee at “A Night for Nepal” on the evening of Tuesday, 27 October on The Terrace at Lupa. Room to Read Founder John Wood will report on his visit to Nepal and the organisation’s work to rebuild the education system. The evening will include a raffle, an auction, and the opportunity to support Room to Read Nepal.

When: Tuesday, 27 October, 6.3opm-10pm
Where: The Terrace at Lupa, 31 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong

 Kids: A Kaye Dong Initiative

Celebrate exploration, expression and creativity through music, arts and magic mama! Little one’s can immerse themselves in fun-filled activities and games as well a special story-telling all in aid of a worthy cause. Want to help mama? Bring a long any new or pre-loved books for ages 3-10 (english or chinese!) or make a monetary donation that’ll go directly to the aid of Po Leung Kuk.

When: Sunday, 1 November 3pm-7pm
Where: Po Leung Kuk, 66 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay

Jupyeah-Swap-Event

New Disposal – JupYeah Pop Up Swap Autumn 2015

If you haven’t heard of JupYeah it’s time to hop on board the growing trend mama! Originally an online swap platform, where people share unwanted things and find values from others’ old belongings, they’re now hosting a pop-up event that welcomes you to dive in and get involved!

You’ll also have the chance to sign up for several workshops that will address the difficulties surrounding ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ in Hong Kong and instead learn how to dispose in a new way with their 7R campaign.

Literacy Workshops with Julie Fowlkes

With over 40 years of international experience in early childhood literacy, Julie Fowlkes is giving mamas the unique opportunity to sign up for one of several workshops that’ll give you an insight your little one’s literacy development! As your child’s first teacher, mamas can learn to enhance cognitive development, communication skills and family bonding with a shared love for books and reading aloud together. From first teacher’s training to book making with your children, you’re sure to find a workshop that suites both you and your little one.
