Swiss School-Bazaar-YAW

Christmas Bazaar at the German Swiss International School

We love a good shopping opportunity, especially as Christmas looms ever closer. Being organised around this time of year seldom ever happens, so we’re grabbing Christmas fairs by the horns and starting off the weekend with German Swiss International School’s festive bazaar. Bring the entire family for a great day out full of games and traditional German and Swiss delicacies. Mama and papa can get down to browsing a huge range of stalls (German beer in hand of course) whilst the little ones play in the Games Alley. Get those stockings sorted, mama!

When: Saturday, 28 November, 10am-4pm
Where: German Swiss International School, Peak Campus, 11 Guilford Road, The Peak, Hong Kong
How much: Free!

Roald Dahl’s The Witches

If you and the kiddos are searching for serious entertainment this weekend mama, then look no further than Roald Dahl’s production of The Witches! Arguably his scariest book (the movie still gives us the chills!) you and the family will be in for a terrifying treat as The Witches plan to wipe out children like weasels and squish them and squiggle them and make them disappear. Settle down for an evening of highly talented actor-musicians, original music, and mind-boggling illusions that will leave you flabbergasted! This production does contain some scary bits, so we recommend that only children 5 and over (and brave mamas) attend the show.

When: Friday, 27 November at 5pm,  Saturday, 28 November at 2pm & 5pm,  Sunday, 29 November at 2.30pm & 6pm
Where: Lyric Theatre, Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, 1 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
How much: Tickets start from $295, book your online here or call 31 288 288.
