Britta Butler, Author at Sassy Mama

Britta Butler received her A.B. from Harvard University, and Master's Degree in Architecture from MIT. She started her architectural career as part of a renowned residential design firm in Boston. After moving to Asia in 2007 and renovating numerous flats over 12 years, she has gained extensive experience in construction and custom sourcing around the Hong Kong/China region.
Britta founded the interior architecture and design firm, B Squared Design Limited in 2014. The firm works on a wide range of projects, from renovation of private residences to commercial spaces. Her approach to design is one of exploration and problem-solving. She is passionate about finding ways to fulfill the clients’ creative aspirations while meeting their practical and budgetary needs. She also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Architecture at Hong Kong University. She is the author of the children's book, "Santa Claus is an Architect,” and is the recipient of the REA 2018 Interior Design Award: “Residential Design Winner” for one of her completed projects in Mid Levels, Hong Kong.
