Cath Kidston Opens Hong Kong Store: Flowery Goodies for Everyone!

Causeway Bay is the new hotspot for grabbing gifts right now — hot on the heels of the new Marimekko Store opening just ’round the corner, English country fave Cath Kidston has just popped up on Hysan Avenue, just opposite Lee Gardens. We popped along to check out what’s in store!

The shop itself is fairly wee, but beautifully laid-out with Cath’s signature wallpapers and plenty of brightly coloured racks and fittings that transport you into the brand’s flowery world. There’s a strong emphasis on baby goodies (yay!) and we were happy to see lots of super-soft floral onesies, bibs and changing mats on offer. If you’re shopping for a new mum and looking for something a bit different, this is the place to come.

Why Sassy Mama Loves It: Our top tip? We’re loving Cath Kidston’s oilcloth diaper bags — hard-wearing and wipe-clean, this is a super-practical must-have. We’ll also be stocking up on the travel accessories and toiletries kits, which I know from personal experience are long-lasting and a fun way to add some colour to a plain white bathroom!

Slightly disappointingly, there isn’t a very good selection of homeware or tableware on offer (no fabric either), though you can order from the catalogue or online. They’ve clearly decided their Hong Kong shop will be all about the accessories, so it’s totes, wallets, and iPhone and laptop cases galore.
