City Chamber Orchestra Of Hong Kong – Live soundtracks of “The Snowman” & “The Bear”

While the stunning, heartwarming animated movies “The Snowman” and “The Bear” play on a big screen, the CCOHK will perform the beautiful scores accompanied by young local soloists and guest hosts (narrating in English), conducted by Philippe Forget.

Hong Kong Ballet – “The Nutcracker” returns

Henderson Land proudly presents this festive family-favourite, returning to the stage at Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s Grand Theatre. “The Nutcracker” has been reimagined to include elements of Hong Kong’s cultural history into the story such as bauhinias, playful peacocks and dim sum!

MTR Malls – “Christmas Circus” across five malls

Ring in the holiday season as five different malls (Telford Plaza, Maritime Square, PopCorn, The LOHAS and The Wai) around Hong Kong get transformed following the theme of “Christmas Circus”. One-of-a-kind circus celebrations will play out across all locations, as well as balloon twsting, Santa parades and even a Christmas Carol marathon. On 21, 22, 25 and 26 December, catch Hong Kong Circus’ production “The Crystal Dream” featuring 30 talented performers.

St John’s Cathedral (Anglican) – Christingle service and Midnight Mass

This impressive building is a familiar face on the Central landscape. Here you can expect traditional Christmas church services and, if previous years are anything to go by, you’ll need to book your spot in advance. Keep an eye on the website for the announcement of midnight mass ticket arrangements.

Discovery Bay International Community Church (Anglican/Episcopal) – Family-friendly Christmas church service in Discovery Bay

A daughter church to St John’s Cathedral, the Discovery Bay Church will continue to have services every Sunday at 10am. There will also be other festive programmes that you can enjoy including the line of lights at the main road on Saturday, 7 December which will culminate in Christmas Carolling at 7pm at DB South Plaza. There will be a Christmas Eve Service on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 at 5:30pm at Tai Pak Beach Playground.

St Andrews Church Kowloon (Anglican) – Christmas carols and children’s Christmas services

While the full list of Christmas services for 2024 is still being finalised (do check the website for the latest information and Christmas events), the popular Bus Caroling will be taking place on Friday, 6 December and Carol Singing on Nathan Road is set for Wednesday, 11 December 2024.
