The famous restaurant at the Repulse Bay could have disappeared alongside the demolition of the old Repulse Bay Hotel, but thankfully it didn’t. Yes, old time Hong Kong residents still lament the demise of the original colonial building, but that aside the Peninsula has made sure to continue the traditional Sunday brunch so loved by locals. It’s a classic, no question, and while more formal than some of our other recommendations, no where else in town has such a great 3-piece band or lawn for the kids to run around on. The Verandah even offers a special package for your baby’s 100-day celebration. The Verandah is the perfect place to host your next large party for your children or other more adult special occasions.
