Beyond Plastic Beach Cleanup

Looking for an exciting adventure and a chance to improve the environment? This June, Beyond Plastic is cleaning up plastic waste from what was previously known as the “ghost island” (not because it was haunted, but because it was vacant for a very long time!). If you’d like to support the group, be sure to join the “Beyond Plastic Beach Clean Up Group” and help collect plastics with Beyond Plastic’s passionate team of volunteers. On top of helping the environment, the event is also great for teaching the kids about sustainability and recycling.
