This is Roundhouse’s Premium version of their 3D Printing Workshop for Families; the number of families are being limited to four, and the workshop will dive deeper into the 3D modelling software than usual. Roundhouse’s core belief, nonetheless, remains the same: 3D printing is fun for the whole family!

Parents and their kids will work together to learn 3D modelling software to produce a physical object, such as a small toy, which can also be 3D-printed. The workshop provides a taste of what will happen when the family return home to learn how to create MANY other objects on the 3D Roundhouse website. Roundhouse provides three hours of training spread out over 48 videos!

Getting there: MTR Kowloon Tong Station, Exit C2. Turn right and walk onto Tat Chee Avenue. Look left to see the InnoCentre.

Roundhouse strongly recommends parents bring their own laptops, not only for full class participation, but also to make the transition from the workshop to the website easier.

After you RSVP and your booking is confirmed, Roundhouse will let you know which free 3D software they will teach, so you can prepare your laptop in advance.

HK$650 for one parent and one child. Extra family members are HK$100 each.
