K11 Design Store and Printer & Co. are bringing the philosophy of slow living, authentic connection and mindful consumption to life through a series of weekend workshops hosted by local calligraphers, experienced play therapists and leading creative writers.

Led by Heidi Thompson, a former graphic designer turned calligrapher and printer, she there is something special about a handwritten name, note, invitation, or envelope that conveys sincerity and appreciation in a modern world taken over by digital correspondence. She uses a wide variety of lettering tools for her work including angled brushes, pointed nibs, broad nibs, and watercolour.
