World Refugee Day At BiteUnite

Join Table of Two Cities and BiteUnite’s chef community to celebrate the remarkable talents of Hong Kong’s refugee community as you enjoy a day of cooking classes, arts and crafts, and music! Hong Kong has a wonderful group of refugees and asylum seekers who are happy to share their various talents and cultures. Cooking classes will be led by refugees, and all arts & crafts for sale are handmade by asylum seekers so come get yourself some art and other utilities! Chefs G FerrettiTina Barret and Catherine will be preparing dishes for lunch, using ingredients sponsored by Magic Season OrganicsFoodlink Foundation 膳心連基金St. James’ Settlement and FoodCraft so come and enjoy some amazing different foods.

Once RSVPed, sign up to learn how to make Sri Lankan fish cutlets, African jollof rice with fried chicken, Egyptian stuffed peppers among many other various kinds of activities.
