They say there’s no such thing as free lunch, well not unless you’re a kiddo dining at a Hong Kong family-friendly restaurant! We all know what it’s like wanting to take the whole family out for a nice meal, whilst making sure you’re not sacrificing an arm and a leg for something the kids won’t touch. We’ve done the tasting to find some pretty outstanding restaurants in Hong Kong that let your toddlers eat for free! You don’t have to sacrifice taste, ambience or menu options when eating with your little ones at these stellar places, be it a brunch or buffet!

Hutong – Family-friendly restaurant with stellar harbour views
If your little one can handle some spice and all things nice, Hutong is a family favourite especially for special occasions. Indulge in some dim sum (drop by on Mondays for lunch for the best deal!) and peppery dishes that warm us up in colder weather. If you’re going with a larger group, don’t miss the Peking duck! Kids aged 5 to 12 can dine for free, what a steal!

Spasso – Al-fresco dining for the kiddos that love their seafood
If you’re looking for a good brunch spot in Tsim Sha Tsui, Spasso has to be it. Kids below 6 can eat for free whereas kids aged 6 to 12 can dine for $228. You can “build” your own pasta by picking between fusilli, spaghetti, tagliatelle and macaroni followed by sauce of your choice, and for a sweet finish, we can’t resist the tiramisu!

Bored of alternating between Eggs Benedicts and pancake stacks for brunch? You’ll be thrilled to know that Zuma presents authentic Japanese fare at its baikingu brunch every Saturday and Sunday. Let your little ones tag along – children under 3 eat free. Start with a round (and a couple more) of appetisers from the buffet counter. Then pick a main from the charcoal grill or open kitchen. You can opt for seafood tempura, oven-roasted chicken, sirloin steak, and more – the options are endless.

Three on Canton – Sample a variety of seasonal dishes
Check out the seasonal menu from Three on Canton, offering a huge variety of options that is changing as quickly as your little one’s taste buds – though we’ll say its curries are a favourite throughout the year.
