No, not me! (Although admittedly there are days where I easily feel 50, going on 60, when chasing after my toddler.) But Instant Goddess hits the half century blog mark this week, so Happy Birthday Instant Goddess! You have kept me going through highs and lows and always make me smile – thank you.
I talked about this a while ago, but it’s definitely worth banging on about again – Mango’s online store for Hong Kong. Although many of the Mango stores that used to grace these shores have now disappeared, a pretty good online Mango store has emerged for Hong Kong – far better than the one I originally blogged about last year. Shipping is free on orders over $1500, so load up those shopping baskets, Goddesses! And I’m liking what I see. Both the selection of designs and the prices are very Instant Goddess-friendly!
Here are some very wearable looks from the Mango new Spring/Summer ‘13 collection available online. The collection is very much on trend, with monochrome, stripes, bright reds, blues, a little metallic and some neon. See below to give you just a little taste of S/S ‘13 with far more online.
Top left to right: Touch medallion necklace with stones $370, maxi pendant necklace $195, red pleated top $370 with black super slim trousers $399, monochrome striped sweater dress $269, sequined sheer blouse $615 with black knit straight trousers $539, two tone pink & orange bangles $125
Bottom left to right: zebra print t-shirt with blue stone embellishment $269 with black super slim trousers $269, white pleated neck blouse $199 with red tapered pleat trousers $469, blue two tone tunic dress $539, pink & orange two tone shift dress $399
The Crown Jewels @ Caty PLUS 10% off!
A couple of months ago I blogged about my latest jewellery discovery – Caty on Caine Road – and since then have had to keep myself on a tight leash whilst walking past, as every week new supplies arrive and there’s always something in the window that catches my eye.
Last Friday I had no choice but to unleash myself as I was invited by Caty owner Chienie Tsai to the “Bling-bling Spring” S/S ‘13 Caty preview party. Well it would have been rude not to! So off I went, where once again I was like a little girl in a sweet shop… it was a slice of bauble heaven and fat free too – what more could a Goddess want??
Well, what about a 10% discount?
Caty are kindly offering Sassy Mama readers a 10% discount from 23 January to 14 February, with a free Michael Kors bracelet with every purchase! All you have to do is say the magic words “Sassy Mama” before you buy!
And here’s what all the fuss is about, with statement necklaces galore:
Don’t worry Goddesses… the necklaces are affordable at around $500 to $800
(some are cheaper too) and up to $1300 for the more ornate pieces.
And last but certainly not least here are two of my faves that I’m currently sporting.
But it’s not just statement necklaces, there are more delicate styles too; fab, bling cocktail rings and of course, earrings.

Midweek meal inspiration
I was cooked this little number for brunch one Saturday by a friend of mine at her new boyf’s house where they only serve chilled Cristal, (oh, and water if you need it!) I give you fave Aussie chef, Donna Hay’s Chorizo, Spinach and Ricotta Frittata. In Donna’s own words it’s “Fast, fresh and simple” and if that isn’t Instant Goddess-worthy then I don’t know what is.
Tip: my friend ran out of cream so added Philadelphia cream cheese and a bit of milk instead, and it was DELICIOUS…maybe even better than the cream that Donna suggests?
Yogi tea saying of the week: “Just ask, the worst thing that can happen is hearing no”
Instant Goddess saying of the week: “Pass the Cristal! No? What do you mean no?? No-one says ‘no’ to the Instant Goddess!”
Until next week Goddesses, remember you are ALWAYS worth it! XX
