Jellybean: The Sweetest New Store in Town

Style & BeautyPost Category - Style & BeautyStyle & Beauty

Queens Road East is fast becoming the new destination for the best boutiques for little ones. Just on the corner of Ship Street, the newly opened Jellybean is just a short hop, skip and a jump away from Petit Bazaar and Urban Totz, and proves that good things really do come in small packages. With its modern, neon-accented exterior and bright white decor inside, Jellybean has a fab selection of toys, home-wares and accessories that make it the perfect place to pick up a gift or kit out a nursery. Sassy Mama loves the unique collection of brands (most of which we haven’t seen in Hong Kong before), with a  favourite being the amazingly-named Sugarbooger by Ore Originals line of feeding and bathing goodies. They have Dwell Studio bedding and towels, 3 Sprouts, Bobbleart, Seedling, Jano Toys and much much more. There has clearly been a lot of care taken with putting together an eclectic but harmonious selection of products, and there’s an emphasis on practicality over preciousness that parents will appreciate.

So who’s behind Jellybean? Well, you won’t be surprised to learn it was started by three fellow mamas, with five young children between them. Their inspiration was to create a lifestyle boutique that’s fun for both kids and adults to shop in, and which has items ranging from fancy to functional. We think they’ve done a great job! Their toy selection in particular is impressive with a real focus on things that will encourage kids to get creative and really play.
