In my opinion, you can never have too many books in your toddler’s library. Books are such a great gift and the perfect catalyst to boost your little one’s imagination and vocabulary. Here are some of our favourite picks!

  • Please, Mr. Panda by Steve Antony
  • Press Here by Herve Tulle
  • Polar Bear’s Underwear by Tupera Tupera
  • This Moose Belongs To Me by Oliver Jeffers
  • Goodnight Already! by Jory John & Benji Davies
  • Shh! We Have A Plan by Chris Haughton
  • Lines That Wiggle by Candice Whitman
  • Tap The Magic Tree by Christie Matheson
  • Love You Forever by Robert Munsch

And finally, my personal favourite gift for toddlers – experiential and meaningful gifts:

It’s important to remind our toddlers that giving gifts whether they are tangible or not is just as important, if not more, than receiving. Gifts comes in all shapes and form, but sometimes, the most memorable gifts for toddlers can be a shared experience. Here are some great ones:

Learning Together:

There is no gift more valuable than time spent as a family! Sign you and your littles up for a fun class – whether that be a dance class, pottery making or attending a show together.

Giving Back:

One way to encourage empathy and selflessness is to teach your toddler early on that there is much joy to be found in giving back. A great way is to browse together in a charity gift catalog like the one provided by World Vision and to choose together what you would like to give back. The World Vision catalog includes gifting little chickens or animals to families in need.
