Sassy Scoop: You’re Invited to the Art@SPRING Open House on 19 October!

So you’ve sorted out the best school, teachers and tutor for your kid for the upcoming school year… what’s next? Extracurriculars, of course! We are big fans of SPRING for their ability to develop well-rounded students beyond just academics, and if you haven’t had a chance to check out their fantastic range of year-round programs, now’s the time, mama! If you have a couple of pint-sized burgeoning artists at home, Art@SPRING classes are the perfect outlet for them to unleash their creativity this fall, so make sure to check out their Open House Workshop on 19 October!

Developed in collaboration with the renowned arts and design education group established since 1993, birdintree, Art@SPRING classes place particular emphasis on guiding students to see and observe artistically and organically – and think critically about the art-making process before they actually begin. Children are encouraged to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions with skills; it’s an interactive, hands-on experience that lets them see the natural and human world around them with their own insight. Art@SPRING courses are taught by friendly, experienced Design School graduate teachers that are dedicated to helping each student discover new things and explore the possibilities, leading to one-on-one instruction that draws out each child’s full potential!

Classes are divided into three groups: ages 2-3, ages 3-4 and ages 4-5. Each class starts with an open discussion before any work begins, teaching little ones to think critically and individually about different methods and approaches before diving headfirst into the project. They are then encouraged to explore their full range of creativity and imagination with ample guidance and support from the teacher.
