Is it just me, or do all mamas feel kind of guilty as well as sad when their kids grow out of their clothes? My daughter has grown out of so many cute items after just a couple of times wearing them, and it makes me feel bad that we got so little use out of something we’ve paid for. I was so happy to hear about one very enterprising mama, Yoshie, who is helping us all out on this by organizing clothes swapping parties through her Seesaw website!
The next event will be held over two days, and swapping only summer clothes, which is practical as the weather is already so warm. If you have new or gently-used baby clothes for ages 0 – 5 years old that you would like to swap at the party, you can either contact Yoshie in advance to arrange dropping off or picking up, or you can bring along your goodies on the day.
As well as clothes, you can also bring along small toys to swap. Yoshie just asks that they are in good condition and of a size to fit in one hand.
