Back for its second year, the AIA Great European Carnival is kicking it up big time with more rides, more attractions, more food and more excitement all around! They’ve brought back their favourite rides from last year and added 8 more this year to make sure every age and thrill level is covered. That means both you and your kids can choose from 29 fantastic rides ranging from the very tame all the way to the bare-knuckled daredevil rippers! There will be something for everyone!

And these aren’t just any rides. The rides have been specially selected by the most experienced and knowledgeable showmen in the world, and then shipped all the way from Europe for all of us in Hong Kong to enjoy.

Prefer to keep your feet on the ground? Stroll around the carnival grounds enjoying captivating street performer acts, test your skills at one of many game booths or take photos in front of cool 3-D photo boards of iconic European landmarks such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Big Ben, and the Eiffel Tower. And then after you also stuff your face with the delicious (and reasonably priced) food have some classic winter fun gliding, twirling and maybe (gracefully) falling at Hong Kong’s only outdoor Ice Rink.

After spending the day eating, riding and laughing with the family, when the sun goes down, the music, lights and fun turns up. If the view from the rides isn’t impressive enough, you can OOH and AHHH over the dazzling Italian Luminaire lighting that will be on display for the first time in Hong Kong. Come and marvel at a 400-year old Italian tradition that has been handed down through many generations of young and old admirers for many years.

And good news for new mothers! This year, the carnival offers the Chickeeduck Mother’s Room with comfortable feeding chairs, baby changing stations and even complimentary tea and cookies. So everyone can comfortably join in the fun!
