Kids are so energetic and so full of life, and that’s what we love about them. However, there are some days where we just want to sit back and enjoy their energy and enthusiasm without having to tire ourselves out as well. Enter Ryze Ultimate Trampoline Park! If you haven’t been already, we’re sure you’ve at least heard word of this indoor amusement centre where your kids can jump, tumble and bounce to their heart’s content. We trekked down to North Point recently to see what all the fuss was about and try it out ourselves.

IMG_6834Covering 7,000 sq. ft., Ryze includes 40 interconnecting trampolines, dodgeball, basketball, foam pits and jumping boards. With multiple sections that are essentially all bounce-able, we saw children jumping, laughing and just plain enjoying themselves, while parents sat on the couches conveniently located right next to the foam pits and took photos of their little ones.

If your kids are feeling adventurous, they can take a walk on the Ryze slack line – which is like tightrope walking, but safely located right above a foam pit (it’s like falling onto a cloud!).

IMG_6842As an adult who is somewhat larger than the little 3 year olds hopping around, I was a little concerned about toppling into one of them by accident. Thankfully this didn’t happen, but mamas should be aware that most Ryze sessions will include hyperactive teenagers and young adults working their legs on those trampolines as well. Luckily, we found out that Ryze is currently offering a Kid Jump session every weekday from 9-10am with a discount for children who are 6 years old and under ($95 per child). They also let in one adult per paid child for free!  This is an awesome option for those who want to enjoy some fun time with their child at Ryze with minimum potential for accidents.

Ryze is also open for birthday parties (get ready for the flood of invites from your kids’ schoolmates), fitness sessions, SuperSlam basketball tournaments, Theme Night Thursdays and Club Ryze every Friday and Saturday night where the lights go out and the lasers come on (for kids 15 years and older).

Our verdict? Not only are your children guaranteed to have the time of their lives, you’ll probably forget all about ‘taking it easy’ and embrace your inner kid once you see everyone else having a ball!

Prices
Ryze ‘flights’ start every half an hour. Tickets are priced at $150/hour, and Kid Jump sessions are $95/hour. Kids under 2 years old jump for free. Walk-ins are welcome, but we advise reserving your tickets in advance online if you’re planning to go on a weekend or public holiday, as they are generally sold out.

Opening Hours
9am – 10pm on weekdays, and 9am – 11pm on weekends
