Kathryn will be at Bookazine for the novel’s launch, plus a signing session, and there’ll also be scary tattoos and sweets from Sim’s Sweet Shop for all attendees. In-keeping with the conservation theme, all proceeds go to the WWF, and the ticket price includes all ingredients and one soft drink too.

Can’t be bothered to do the cooking – and washing up – yourself?! Join the club… and go to Lily & Bloom for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner instead! They’ll be serving huge turkeys to carve up tableside, plus a selection of all the yummiest pies – and they’re so yummy, you might wanna take an extra home with you too! (You can also check out the rest of our Thanksgiving recommendations here)

An afternoon at the cinema
There’s a few new releases that have caught our eye this week… for little explorers, everyone’s favourite young Belgian adventurer is taking to the big screen with The Adventures Of Tin Tin. It should be a rip-roaring ride for little boys, especially as it’s presented in 3D IMAX for a truly eye-popping experience! Don’t despair mamas, we’ve got something for you too, with the return of Carrie Bradshaw… errr, we mean, Sarah Jessica Parker… with I Don’t Know How She Does It, an adaptation of the Alison Pearson book about how a working mum balances family with her career (all probably whilst having great shoes too). Did we mention it’s got eye candy in the shape of James Bond… errr, we mean, Pierce Brosnan… too?! We’re sold!
Where: Tin Tin – UA IMAX Cinema, 7F iSquare, 63 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, I Don’t Know How She Does It – AMC Pacific Place, Admiralty, Hong Kong
When: I Don’t Know How She Does It, Out now; Tin Tin, from 24 November
How much: Tin Tin in IMAX – $120-130, I Don’t Know How She Does It – $75
