Breakfast at Bettys

As much as you try and pull the pillow over your head and turn the baby monitor volume down to catch another ten minutes of shut-eye, the fact is that the little ones just don’t respect the concept of the lie-in! So, you end up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to start your day, and the only option open is… Starbucks. Hmph.

Well, thankfully, that’s all changed as Bettys Kitschen (yep, we spelled that right!) in ifc is now open and serving brekkie as of 8am. With a menu of cooked breakfasts, fresh fruits, yoghurts and granola, there’s something for everybody, as well as a wide selection of tea and coffee to get you your caffeine fix… stat! And if Mama’s head is pounding a little from indulging a bit too much the night before? Well, order up one of their sinfully delicious Bacon Butties, washed down with a cup of Builder’s. For a treat the kids will love, don’t miss the Crepes with Rhubarb Compote or Banana and Nutella! Yum.

And the added bonus? Proper high chairs which actually have the safety strap at the front which most Hong Kong restaurants seem to believe isn’t necessary!
