Treat them to a Barcelona-chic Asador-style menu for $520 per person, which includes items like: ‘Jamon Iberico’ (Spanish Ham), seared Hokkaido scallops with lustful lemon butter and Chateaubriand. For a romantic end, finish off the evening with a cocktail, or a sublime gin and tonic at the Optimist’s vintage bar.

Looking for something warming and tropical for Valentine’s this year? With top quality service, a bustling vibe and gorgeous food, Uma Nota’s authentic Brazillian Japanese street food won’t disappoint. This year, Uma Nota will be taking reservations (which they don’t usually do!) and targeting all the ladies looking to celebrate the day with a friend. So head over on a mama-only night to receive a complimentary glass of prosecco/Caipirinha (where cachaça can be replaced with sake or vodka for a different flavour!). We’ve had the chance to check this spot out on countless occasions and can completely vouch for the service and quality.

For a relaxed date night, enjoy a six-course menu and a prosecco cocktail for $390 per person at Commissary. It’s going to be a zingy Southern Californian feast, with the likes of Shrimp Ceviche with Mango, Papaya & Chilli salsa, Popcorn Chicken and Chilli jam and Raspberry & Rose mousse spicing things up this Valentine’s day.

Treat bae at Bao Bei with a four-course meal in an intimate venue. If the Cupid’s Potion doesn’t go straight to your head, enjoy Beer Battered Tiger Prawns, a Char Siu and Egg Rice Burger and Mango Mousse Cake with Fresh Berries, among many other things. Few do love quite like the Italians, especially if it’s a love for food…Chef Stefano Rossi has created a romantic seven-course Infatuato Dinner, priced at $520 per person to share with your loved one. The floor to ceiling windows will take care of the ambience, while dishes ‘Liquid’ Carbonara Amorini, succulent Grilled Boston Lobster with Salsa Verde and creamy Raspberry Pana Cotta are sure to have you feeling the love!

Looking for something a little different? Look no further than TokyoLima’s Lujuria Menu and share eight beautifully presented Nikkei inspired dishes with your loved one for $520 per person. The inventive menu includes wonderfully named dishes such Tiradito of Desire (with tuna, tamarind shoyu tiger’s milk and coriander chips) and Tokyo Lima Guilty (made with soba noodles and charred avocado tossed with with aji panca dressing), and even a Lust Apple for dessert.

Chachawan

Share the love at Chachawan with a glass of champagne and a sharing menu of six Chachawan favourites, such as Hoi Nung (steamed Clams with Thai holy basil), and Kung Nam Ma Kam (deep fried king prawns with tamarind sauce) for $468 per person. End the night with a bowl of Kanom Dtom – warm coconut dumplings – that are sure to impress your date.

Newcomer Komune is serving up a special set menu curated by Michelin-experienced chef El Palanca. His travel-inspired dishes start with a dozen oysters, followed by three smaller plates (think truffles, camembert and seafood), one main (milk-fed lamb with porcini mushroom and Jerusalem artichokes risotto) and, of course, the non-negotiable romantic dessert (featuring strawberries, rose leaves and vanilla cream). Rest assured that each dish will be served with a little twist. Enjoy it all on the spacious, cosy and – most importantly – warm terrace. The menu comes at three different price points, depending on your choice of tipple (for two people: $1,288 or $1,608 with Chandon Brut NV or Chandon Brut Rose NV, or $1,988 with Veuve Clicquot). The menu is available from Wednesday, February 7 to Wednesday, 14 February.

A must for seafood lovers is the sixcourse Valentine’s Day menu at the 1-Michelin star Rech by Alain Ducasse. The menu includes Gratinated oysters with Champagne, Brittany Lobster and Lumaconi Pasta, as well as the restaurant’s signature desserts named ‘Mr and Mrs Rech’. The menu is priced at $2,988 for two, with wine-pairing for an additional $588 per person.

Get your ‘kokoro’ beating faster with an eight-course Omakase Valentine’s Day Dinner Menu at NOBU for $3,288 for two. The menu features Botan Ebi and Tairagai Sashimi Caviar, Champagne Jelly, a deluxe sushi assortment; King Crab Tempura with Yuzu Honey roasted Chilean Sea Bass and A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, to name but a few. End that off with “Cupid Crystal” – Champagne, apple and rose in a dessert.
