This Hong Kong International School Has A World-Class Football Academy — And It’s Open To Everyone

German Swiss International School has teamed up with Borussia Dortmund to bring its renowned football training philosophy to Hong Kong. The programme is open to both boys and girls from U6 to U12,  including children who don’t attend GSIS, and is led by UEFA Pro and A-Licence Coaches.

If your child is always looking for an excuse to get a ball at their feet, this is one to know about. German Swiss International School (GSIS) runs the BVB International Academy Hong Kong in partnership with Borussia Dortmund, giving young players the chance to train in a more structured, development-focused environment. The best bit, you don’t need to be a GSIS student to join!

More Than Just Football Training

There’s a big difference between simply playing more football and actually learning the game.

At BVB International Academy Hong Kong, the focus is on helping budding players build technical skills, improve their tactical understanding and grow in confidence on the pitch. The coaching team includes UEFA Pro and A-Licence coaches, who bring Borussia Dortmund’s training philosophy to Hong Kong while keeping the emphasis on individual development, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Flexible Football Training That Fits YOUR Family Schedule

Not every family wants (or can manage) the same level of commitment, but that doesn’t mean they have to miss out on expertise!

BVB have opened a number of ways to get involved. The Academy is open to boys and girls from U6 to U12, including both GSIS and non-GSIS students. Families can choose the full-year programme for a more consistent training schedule, or opt for a flexible 10-session pass if that works better around school, other activities and family life.

Ready To Get Them On The Pitch?

Registration for the upcoming season is now open, with places kept limited to help maintain coaching quality. Whether your child is ready to commit to a full year or you’d rather start with a more flexible option, you can choose the format that suits your family and get them training the BVB way.

Sassy Mama tip: Ask about the sibling discount available for families registering more than one child.
