At the time of going to press, it seems frivolous to be writing about fashion when we’ve seen so much unrest on the streets of Hong Kong. But should things ever get back to some sort of normality, and you feel like splashing some cash on fash, here are some morsels to get those purse strings twitching…
Instant Goddess does love to lounge in style, especially when it’s affordable style. The outfits above are all from ZenvarA – a local Hong Kong label specialising in stylish but affordable resort wear. This is definitely one to watch in the upcoming months with all the festive pop-up shops and fairs just around the corner and even more so if you’re jetting off to sunny climes for Christmas. For more information you can contact the founder, Anita Beavis (call 9586 3459 or email [email protected]). Dates for the diary with venues where you’ll be able to get your ZenvarA fix are:
The Hebe Haven 24HR Charity Dinghy Race
Saturday, 1 Nov at 2pm
The Conrad Christmas Fair
Monday, 3 Nov at 10am
Friday, 14 Nov at 10am

Midweek Meal Inspiration
This week it’s Jamie Oliver’s Hit n Run Traybaked Chicken, a tasty, all-in-one dish that couldn’t be more simple. Pop into the oven, serve with salad and mop up the glorious, sticky juices with crusty bread – you couldn’t get more Instant Goddess friendly than that. Oh, and it’s relatively low cal… perfect for weight-watching mamas.
Yogi tea saying of the week: “You cannot control culture, but you can change it.”
Instant Goddess saying of the week: “It’s time for change.”
Until next time Goddesses, and remember you are always, always worth it!
