A not-for-profit school that’s here to make a difference…
What differentiates one school from another? That wasn’t a rhetorical question, mama, we’d really like to know! When it comes to our little growing stars, even the sky is within reach! But it’s important to know where we can get an extra hand…
If you’re looking for a school that is all about instilling the correct values through education, we’ve got a match! Kellett School, the British International School in Hong Kong, is a not-for-profit school that strives to educate students in an open and receptive environment. With facilities ranging from an open sports field and private gymnasium, to an impressive theatre, music room and art studio, you can be sure that this school will work to bring out well-rounded, independent students.
Kellett was founded in 1976 by a group of parents themselves – so we can be sure that it’s mama-approved. Through searching for a British education for their children in Hong Kong, these parents created a platform that supports and encourages little ones to grow.
Today, the school has expanded across two campuses, with a Preparatory campus in Pok Fu Lam, and a recently opened purpose-built campus in Kowloon Bay, that holds both a Preparatory and Senior School. Earlier this year (in March 2016), Kellett underwent a full BSO Inspection, and achieved the highest possible outcome… that’s right, they’ve officially been labelled as ‘outstanding’. Well, we can’t argue with that!
Looking to learn more about Kellett? You’re in luck! The Kellett School Open Day is happening Saturday, 29 October 2016 so we can get a proper feel of the place!
The School is opening its doors at the Pok Fu Lam campus (from 10am to 1pm) and the Kowloon Bay campus (11am to 2pm). Make sure you don’t miss out on the chance to tour the campus of your choosing (or both sites!). Plus, they promise there’ll be plenty of time to speak to the staff members, and be a part of talks from Senior members of staff. It’s all about getting involved, right, mama?
