Mighty Oaks from little acorns grow

Let’s be honest, mama, education can sometimes seem like one confusing process… But when you really think about it, the core aim is always the same: supporting your little one. We get that helping them grow into the brightest, strongest, happiest version of themselves is no easy task, so we’re partnering with experts to make sure school is kept fun AND engaging. Mighty Oaks focuses on helping children build (and establish) a strong foundation of moral values by encouraging the nine attributes of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control from a young age. Perfect.

You know what they say, mama, ‘mighty oaks from little acorns grow’ – and with love, care, and support throughout those (vital) early stages, we can’t wait to watch our littles become all they hope to be! The school stays true to their vision, continually providing the best quality practice for babies and young children in a respectful and open environment.  Merging professionalism with a personal touch, their trilingual curriculum (including English, Cantonese and Putonghua) is developed based on EYSF (Early Years Foundation Stage) and a Canadian Full-Day Early Learning Kindergarten Curriculum.

In order to really stay in line with their values, they’ve made sure environmentally friendly aspects run throughout the school. From an aquaponics wall, showing the cycle of growing plants and fish living in one system, to the solar-powered planting wall, where students can bring home fresh vegetables – sustainability is key. They pride themselves in only serving organic food and using environmentally friendly products, which is a rare find in our bustling city! And if you’re worried about hygiene, fear not! This is the first establishment to use anti-virus, anti-bacteria, and anti-fungi paint, which is effective against various types of diseases. Plus, they use a book steriliser, with the newest UV technology to make sure all the nasties are kept away (phew!).

With the school motto of “Where lifelong learning meets with character development”, you can be sure that growth is on the agenda, mamas! They currently provide trilingual playgroup classes for toddlers up to 24 months, with activities in Music & Movement, Arts & Crafts, Indoor & Outdoor Exercises, Sensory & Messy Play, plus Library Time. Plus, the Baby Acorn sessions cater to tinies up to 18 months, helping to increase memory and attention span whilst strengthening fine motor skills. With a focus on ‘righteousness’, these experts take responsibility for others’ wellbeing and understand how to make the right choices.

And don’t worry about missing out on any mini milestones – Mighty Oaks holds monthly parenting workshops and community service opportunities for the whole family to make sure each and every little one is supported when climbing to the top of that mighty ladder (or mighty oak!).
