OK –so you get the 7th Generation diapers, you do the laundry with a fragrance-free and totally natural detergent, and your kiddo’s bath time is free and clear of all those chemical nasties we all know we should take care to avoid. But how often do you think about sustainable, eco-friendly clothes for the kiddos? I’ll admit that I don’t think about it too often these days, since for starters, it’s not exactly always easy on the wallet to go with the lovely organic fibre onesie.
So with baby #2 on the way, I was pumped to hear about a new online shop here in Hong Kong: itsybb and their range of eco-friendly fashions for babies and toddlers up to 4. They stock only organic and hypoallergenic silky bamboo (which is great in humid climates, btw) and merino wool wear from Kicky Pants and Bamino Merino.
They offer up a sweet selection of basics like pj’s and onesies, plus dresses, outerwear (how cute is this hoodie with ears!?), and more – and with prices between $135 and around $300 or so, going the eco route doesn’t have to break the bank.
Check out the range on their website, www.itsybb.com.
