Newsflash: Hong Kong’s Newest Private Hospital, Gleneagles Opens in Aberdeen

Good news, mama! Hong Kong’s newest private care hospital, Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital (GHK) has opened it’s doors on the Southside of the island brining quality healthcare services and patient experience. It is a joint venture between Parkway Pantai and NWS Holdings Limited, with Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine of The University of Hong Kong as its exclusive clinical partner.

Boasting state-of-the-art facilities (including 500 beds!), GHK is one of the most modern and well-equipped hospitals in Hong Kong giving families living in Aberdeen access to facilities which include PET CT, nuclear medicine facilities, 24-hour fully-automated core laboratory system, operating theatres capable of complex surgeries and a Critical Care Unit. 

Families can be confident they’ll be in excellent care as GHK provides a wide range of clinical services ranging from 35 specialists and sub-specialists. They also have impressive outpatient services that include 16 specialists through 14 different clinics.

One thing that catches our eye is their Accident and Emergency (A&E) services that will provide prompt and appropriate treatments to patients with urgent medical conditions. Mamas and papas on the Southside can breathe a sigh of relief that there is help close by if an emergency (God-forbid!) were to ever arise.

As Hong Kong’s newest private teaching hospital, Gleneagles will also contribute its expertise to the training and development of healthcare processionals and advancement of clinical research for the larger medical community. It’s safe to say, we’re in good hands.
