Stamford American School and Mini Mandarins are teaming up for a Gruffalo themed playgroup…
Looking for a mama-approved playgroup that ticks all the boxes? Bring the kiddos along to join in the exciting adventure, following The Gruffalo into the deep dark woods! The morning will be packed full with musical time, hands-on art and craft activities, and bilingual fun…
Stamford American School and Mini Mandarins are both strong believers that being multilingual is an important skill to have for the next generation. Learning a language from an early age is a sure way to foster cultural appreciation and enhance communication skills (at school, work and beyond). Sounds pretty good to us, mamas! To really practice what they preach, the interactive storytelling of The Gruffalo, the bestselling children’s book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, will be read in MANDARIN!
Littles from the age of 3 to 6 will definitely be kept entertained. The exclusive meet-and-greet session with The Gruffalo himself is a little bonus to really bring this tale to life. Plus, The Gruffalo is coming straight from the stage adaptation of this book, which hits Hong Kong live on stage as part of KidsFest this year – so you can be sure that he’s the real deal.
Oh, and since the event is exclusively for Sassy Mama readers, there’ll be plenty of time for you to sit back and unwind with like-minded parents as your tinies play! Now the only question is, where do we sign up?
