Sassy Scoop: Team up for a fun family paint date with Starlit Art Space

Let’s face it: Hong Kong is chock-full of great kids’ classes, activities and workshops to keep small people occupied. But generally, Mama’s role in all the fun is strictly limited to drop-offs and pick-ups! But with this cool and creative class from Starlit Art Space, you can get a piece of the painting action… and some original modern artwork to adorn your walls too!

Just pop along to one of Starlit Art Space’s two-hour-long sessions with your little Jackson Pollock in tow and you can both enjoy some freestyle art jamming, working together on a 45cm x 60cm canvas that you’ll take home at the end of your session. Prefer to learn a little more technique? Bring in a photo of your little lovely and the amazing teachers at Starlit will teach you how to immortalise them in a funky Pop Art style… Andy Warhol, eat your heart out!

Classes are kept small, with a maximum of eight kids and eight adults, meaning that you get plenty of individual attention from the instructors. This is perfect for kids aged between three to seven years old. There’ll be complimentary juice, tea and biscuits available to keep artists well fuelled, and there’s ample parking nearby for mamas wanting to transport their new statement piece home.
