Southside Mandarin Open Day

Southside Mandarin is holding an Open Day that promises to bring fun for littles of all ages! Children (from 1 to 12 year olds) can join in FREE classes – including Putonghua Chinese, Art, Chinese Dance, Wushu, Chinese Music and more. Plus, teachers will be there to answer any questions you have. With non-stop performances, food, champagne (and more), there’s something for every member of the family!

When: Saturday, 14 January, from 9am to 4pm

How much: Free entry – with a special 15% discount offered for all classes enrolled on the day

Hong Kong Art Symposium Student Art Competition

This Art Symposium celebrates all things creative – and their student competition is coming right up. Kiddos will have their submissions exhibited at The Hong Kong Art Symposium event on 2 April, 2017. Little ones can enter Mixed Media (photography, film, music, etc) and Art (visual art, literature pieces) competitions and the winners from each age group and category will receive fun prizes!

Room to Read’s January Beers for Books at Eaton House

Global non-profit Room to Read is hosting a win-win situation: Beers for Books. This event aims to raise funds for Room to Read’s programs of literacy and gender equality in education. For every drink purchased, $10 will go towards Room to Read – and exciting raffle prizes are also in store!

Chinese New Year Party at BabySteps

Get your Chinese New Year plans sorted early and bring the whole family along to celebrate! Kiddos (from 6 month olds to 6 year olds) are invited to join the party! With festive crafts, Chinese Zodiac animal games, traditionally storytelling and costume dress up, it’s a sure way to welcome in Year of the Rooster!
