Mama-approved sport classes for your little athletes
Got a little toddler running around? We’re more than happy for our little ones to keep us on our toes, but there does come a point where even the least sleep deprived parents need a little energy boost. If you’re looking for a way that your bundles of joy can stay on the go, whilst you get some timeout, RugBees newest classes could be just the thing.
The classes are available all over Hong Kong, for toddlers up to the age of 4, with a focus on building confidence, promoting teamwork and stimulating imaginations through movement. Inspired by the idea of sports-play, RugBees launched in 2011 with classes offered throughout Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Sports-play Classes work to weave storytelling with sports, adding an element of creativity into exercise.
RugBees offers Hong Kong’s first rugby and sports inspired play sessions, catering especially to pre-schoolers. With the launch of their new ZOO ESCAPADES themed term running from January to March 2017, we knew we had to get involved in the fun.
These experts pride themselves on the fact that they teach more than sport: they play on children’s natural imagination and curiosity. We love that our tiny tots can attack the field, pretending to be animals chasing a lion, or run (or pretend swim!) away from sharks. And don’t worry, it’s all non-contact, with a firm focus on kiddos safety!
Your budding athletes get a chance to learn to catch, kick, balance, coordinate their actions, AND improve their gross-motor skills – all whilst having fun! The 45-minute sessions are packed full with obstacles and circuits to navigate, so you can rest assured that your little ones will be out of steam by the time you tuck them into bed (wishful thinking, mamas?).

If you have a group of friends (a minimum of 4 kids) who are interested, they’ll kick start custom classes at any time, date and location you pick! From sports centres, private member clubs and residential apartments, to badminton courts, function rooms, or even beaches – all you have to do is pick when and where. They’ll handle the rest.
