It’s party season! And while Hong Kong is a great city but sometimes it can be hard to find an unusual venueto host a surprise party or a dinner with a difference if you don’t want to break the bank by renting out a restaurant. So it is great news that Philia Home has a brand new venue that offers great food, privacy and the comfort of a homely (albeit gorgeous) setting.
Located on a quiet terrace behind Hollywood Road’s Man Mo Temple, Philia Home is neither a regular restaurant nor one of those ubiquitous “private kitchens” that seem to have popped up all over Hong Kong recently. It offers a private setting that can be booked for anniversary celebrations, intimate dinners, DJ parties, corporate events, lunch meetings, product launches, movie screens or anything else you wish — all without the worry of space, logistics, catering or cleaning up afterwards!
The decor is warm, richly inviting with beautifully created pieces of furniture using recycled materials where possible. Food is of paramount importance to any great event and Chef Leo Kam, who has worked at Michelin-starred restaurants and trained at both Gordon Ramsay’s Maze and Nobu in London, offers superb menu ideas often with a “Japanese twist”.
Philia Home is at: G/F U Lam Terrace, Central, Hong Kong, 2147 2389
