Can you believe this weekender officially marks the start of December? Doesn’t time fly when us mamas are having fun?! And we’ve got even more in store for you over the next week!

One of Sassy Mama’s favourite bakeries is holding their very own holiday bazaar! Saffron’s Christmas Fair is the ideal place to pick up all your stocking fillers – including funky cartoon tees by David & Goliath, cute children’s clothing and accessories from Hip Little Bubba, second hand books from Flow, premium chocs from Rococco and colourful candy by the (Santa’s!) sack-load; we’ll be there too, so stop by to say hello! And we’re sure you won’t need much persuasion to fit in a quick coffee and cake from Saffron too… It’s the Stanley Plaza World of Food & Music as well so there’s tons going on down South this weekend.

The best bestest show in town!
Everyone’s favourite brother and sister are headed to Hong Kong! Charlie & Lola’s Best Bestest Play brings to the life the much-loved characters from Lauren Child’s best-selling books, in a mix of live action, puppets, music and some good old theatrical magic too. Mamas everywhere are bound to recognise some of Lola’s mischievous antics with a smile, whilst littlies should be delighted by this charming stage show.

A very merry carnival
Prince’s Building is laying on a wonderful winter wonderland for their Merry Carnival – a perfect outing for kids getting into the festive spirit! There’ll be appearances from Princess Charming and her knights, a pirate captain, clowns and a safari photographer to take some snapshots, plus face-painting and some yummy treats too. You can also drop by Bookazine (Shop 309) for the launch of colourful children’s board book Hong Kong ABC by Diane Wu David, with all profits going to charity Room To Read and scrummy Sprinkles cupcakes and treats free with every purchase.

Woof woof!
Hong Kong Dog Rescue’s annual fundraiser Peak To Fong is a fun adventure for all the family – including your furry friends! Hosted by ‘special guests’ from Disney, the gentle downhill walk starts at The Peak and ends with a fab street fair in Lan Kwai Fong, including food and drink stalls, live music and entertainment, activity booths, shopping opportunities and a Kidz Zone to keep the little ones amused. We’ve also heard a rumour that Santa and his elves may be stopping by the fun too… it’ll be an action-packed afternoon for sure!

Mamas-to-be meet-up! 
Our much-loved Blooming Bellies event is back! Packed full of advice, fun and plenty of goodies and give-aways, this is the perfect chance to meet up with fellow prospective mums – and chat with those who have been there and done it already! Themed around Busting The Myths of giving birth, we’ve laid on talks from yummy mummies Hulda (from Annerley) and Nealy (from Yogabeet), plus a maternity fashion show, some yummy snacks to nibble on and prizes up for grabs worth over $10,000!
