Fairchild Kindergarten Open Day
Head over to Fairchild Junior Academy and check out the spacious, custom designed learning areas designed to bring the outdoors in. Looking to learn more? The newly opened EDB licensed Kindergarten offers all sorts of interactive programs for children from the age of 1 to 5. Plus, their Reggio Emilia inspired approach to play based learning, (supported by early year frameworks from Canada and the UK) is based on keeping little ones inquisitive and entertained.

Behind The Mask: A Child’s Journey Photo Exhibition
Hagar International and The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) have worked with Hong Kong-based artists, Tanya Bennett and Mr. Marc Standing to lead creative art workshops in Cambodia for child survivors of extreme abuse. Through mask-making, the young boys and girls were able to express themselves in new and creative ways. The event features photography prints of masks as a showcase of their survival. Tanya will also be sharing about her experience to help us learn a little more about some of the issues happening in our world today.

AWA Annual Pub Quiz for Charity
The fourth AWA Annual Pub Quiz is coming to town! With an aim to raise money for women, children, people with disabilities, and the elderly, this is one event that is definitely worth marking in your calendar! Ticket price includes a welcome drink, an assortment of nibbles, homemade rosemary bread (fresh from the oven), crispy fried chicken, a selection of pizzas, fresh green salad and a chocolate brownie to finish. And, of course lots of laughter, brain teasers, great prizes and more…

February Cooking Classes at Pantry Magic
We lovingly walk past the Pantry Magic store, wide-eyed at the beautiful homeware and kitchen gear. So when we heard that there were Cooking Classes held in store every Saturday or Sunday from 11am to 1pm, we knew we had to share the news. Head over to the upcoming Cooking Class to learn a little something about Turkish cuisines!

CWS City Challenge: Amazing Race For Charity
City Challenge is an Amazing-Race-inspired charity event raising funds to provide education to underprivileged children and youth in Nepal and Hong Kong. The 3 hour challenge takes teams through an 8km course (don’t worry, you don’t have to cover the entire course) consisting of 30 check points – each with its unique challenge! At the end, points are awarded for each successful challenge and the team with the highest points wins. Time to get the whole gang involved!
