Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Pink Walk for Breast Health
The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual charitable walkathon is coming up mamas, and the event is open for enrolment now! Families, friends, co-workers and pets alike can enjoy this walk to raise awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds of the event will be used to support HKBCF. See you there, dressed in pink!
When: Monday, 10 October – enrolment is open now!
Where: Peak Road Garden, open space between The Peak Galleria and The Peak Tower
How much: $350 (minimum donation per participant)
Christina Noble Children’s Foundation: Family Fun Movie Day
Bring the whole clan along to the first ever CNCF Family Fun Movie Day! With traditional games, arts and crafts workshops, music and dance activities, face painting AND an open air movie screening of “The Lion King”, we trust this is one not to miss out on. Plus, with best dressed prizes, a retail bazaar, and plenty to win at the raffle – there really is something for every member of the family. And the best bit? All proceeds go directly towards projects for this very deserving cause!

Animation Concert and Seminar with Former Disney Animator
PMA Music Foundation and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra is having a charity concert and a family seminar under the theme “You Can Do It” with former Disney Animator, Davy Liu (who created Lion King, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast as well the Aladdin during his time in Disney – WOOHOO!). Enjoy classical music, animation and storytelling, plus a parent seminar with advice from the successful animator himself!
When: Sunday, 2 October (3pm The Magic of Storytelling, 7:45pm: The Magic of parenting)
