Navigating the world of education in Hong Kong can be overwhelming. Everyone has their own opinion on what they believe is best, and if you’re looking online, the information overload can often leave you with more questions than answers. The AmCham International Schools Expo on 5th May is the event you need to help you make your educational decisions. You’ll have a chance to speak to and hear from education professionals – and parents! – from across the industry.

This is your chance to talk to the experts. The Expo, held at the Hong Kong Exhibition Centre, is where you can learn all about what your little one needs and as well as how to navigate the bigger picture – because planning ahead never hurts! There will be more than 15 leading principles from international schools and senior educators based in Hong Kong attending who will offer advice and guidance on everything from the school admission process (including must-know insider tips on interviews for some of HK’s most popular schools!) to the differences between international schools and the local system.

Speakers will discuss the benefits of different curriculum and examinations methods – because, after all, education shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all experience.  If you’re still unsure after hearing what the professionals have to say, you can chat with parents of former international school students and discuss their thoughts and experiences on how schools have nurtured their kids academically, physiologically and socially.

Hong Kong is a competitive place so it’s important to also think long-term. Potential future employers from leading corporations will also be in attendance to discuss what they look for in candidates and how the right education can set your child on a promising career path.
