Hebe Haven SLAM Sailing Centre Open Day

Both parents and kiddos (over seven years of age) interested in water-based sports will be able to experience sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding at The Hebe Haven SLAM Sailing Centre Open Day! The Club will be offering a trial experience free of charge under the supervision of qualified instructors, who will demonstrate the basics and brief little ones on safety and their provided safety equipment . Alongside the trial, families can watch special demonstrations from the Club’s qualified Sailing Team, grab some great food at their food stalls and join in with games, face painting, bouncy castle and a lucky draw!

LALA CURIO x JOUER Mad Hatter Birthday Party

Join LALA Curio and JOUER in celebrating their 2nd birthday with an Alice in Wonderland-inspired birthday party! Designed with the entire family in mind, let your imaginations run wild in a fun-filled day out that’ll have little ones craft making and dancing freely to live music! There’ll also be a face painter on hand and a special Queen of Hearts flower arranging session, whilst mamas and papas sip on caterpillar cocktails and sample an array of dormouse delights.

Insight School of Interior Design – Children Environment

If you’ve ever dreamt of creating the dream bedroom for your kiddo and trying your hand in interior design, then Insight School is here to supply you with the correct tools and give you a leg up in learning the underlying principle of children environmental design! Get inspired and boost your creativity with examples of children’s bedrooms and bathrooms and learn how to choose the right materials, colours and products suitable for that Pinterest-inspired bedroom for your tiny tyke! The workshop with finish with a hands-on workshop where you’ll be able to visualise and put pen to paper to create the perfect layout for your child’s bedroom. Best of all? No design experience is required!

The Pinnacle Million

We’re big fans of Pinnacle Performance Gym here at Sassy Mama, so we had to share news of their truly awesome event, the Pinnacle Million! They’ve rounded up a small team of 24 male and female Pinnacle athletes to attempt to dead-lift 1,000,000 kilos in just 24 hours. You read that right, mama! This incredible and inspiring initiative is all in aid of the Pinnacle Foundation, an organisation which provides coaching and fitness activities for underprivileged children in the city.
