Abbie Pumarejo, Author at Sassy Mama

Abbie was born in Augusta, Georgia, US where she lived for 21 years until she married her high school sweetheart. From there, the adventure of travelling in the US and around the world began. After starting a family and living in Chihuahua, Mexico for ten years, the family lived in Minneapolis, Copenhagen and Shanghai. While in Asia for seven years, she worked for a non-profit devoted to helping expats manage culture shock. She also wrote for and managed a family lifestyle magazine for several years, before taking on the next move to the land of chocolate and cheese: Switzerland. She’s a seasoned mum of three young men and enjoys great food (and wine), laughing with friends and spending time with family on the beaches of Cadiz, Spain. She never met a stranger she couldn’t chat up and loves bringing a bit of southern charm into all her interactions.
