Christine Smith-Mann, Author at Sassy Mama

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Christine Smith-Mann has spent most of her life here. She spent the earlier part of her career working in public relations and communications for leading hotel groups such as The Peninsula Group and The Ritz Carlton. After 11 years and two young sons, she left the hospitality industry to set up her own communications consultancy Smith-Mann Communications (SMC) in 2003. In 2013, she took a short break from PR to set up Hong Kong’s first start-to-finish online party-planning platform Eezy Peezy Parties. She now manages both businesses and parents her three teenage children, Charleigh 14, Christopher, 15, and Daniel, 17, with her partner James and her ex-husband and his new family in a wonderfully functional and happily blended family. Christine counts her blessings every day for being lucky enough to retain a job she thoroughly enjoys, without sacrificing precious moments with her the children she adores.
