ActiveKids
ActiveKids provides a fun and stimulating environment for kids to learn all sorts of skills for the real world, and this Easter, they’ve got a host of cool camps for kiddos, no matter what age. At Science Adventures, aspiring palaeontologists will get to crack a dinosaur mystery, and tiny tinkerers will get to construct their own Robo Transformer. Nurture your child’s logical mind by enrolling them to The Chess Academy. They’ll improve on their spatial reasoning, strategic thinking, attention span and sportsmanship. Mini foodies will definitely be interested in Stormy Chefs, where they’ll get to improve their cooking skills and make apps, entrées, and desserts. (Think Easter egg dippers, chocolate cake and more!) ArtCrafters will get to mix, mould, paint and glaze as they get stuck in to some salt dough… and of course, the kiddos will get to bring all their creations home at the end! British Council
Kiddos looking to brush up on their English skills should definitely check out British Council’s intensive courses this spring. There are three streams: kindergarten, primary and secondary so you’ll find something suitable for all ages. Kids will improve their language skills through activity-based learning techniques at these short courses.

Coast to Coast

This is really one for those needing to brush up on their Putonghua skills. Mandarin for Munchkins has camps at three of their locations (Central, Discovery Bay and Sai Kung) throughout the Easter holidays. Featuring sessions such as “The Magic of Pinyin”, “The Magic of Action Verbs”, “The Magic of Characters” and even “Mandarin Chef”, where kids can cook up a storm under the guidance of the teachers. This centre in the heart of Central is one of our faves at Sassy Mama. This Easter, join in on their creative classes with your tiny tot, including “Music and Cartoons”, “The First Choir” and more. If your little one has a hand for arts and crafts, they can join in on “Moulding Madness” and create something to take home. There are classes for infants up to six years old.

The Lion King has yet to hit the stage in Hong Kong, but if your tweens spend Friday nights performing Hakuna Matata for you and hubby, they’ll love the theatre camps at Faust International. Does your toddler have energy to spare? If you’re littles are bouncing off the walls and you’re wondering what you’re going to do with them over Easter – sign them up for some extreme fun at Bounce Inc.!
