From 10-course family-style dinners to house-made mulled wine, there’s something for everyone!
Christmas is all about spending time with loved ones, but it can put a lot of pressure on time-pressed mamas. So, why not take advantage of the excellent festive offers by Maximal Concepts and book your family in for a meal that promises to delight everyone? Whether you’re after a 10-course island-style feast, a traditional turkey dinner, or even a show-stopping Peking duck, the menus on offer at the Maximal Concepts’ various restaurants will have you covered.
This restaurant group has some of Hong Kong’s most loved restaurants and bars in its fold. These festive dinner menus start at $300/person and are available from Friday, 29 November to Thursday, 26 December at Limewood, Sip Song, John Anthony and Mercedes me. If you’re at Stockton, Brickhouse, Sip Song or Mercedes me, don’t forget to ask for the special seasonal tipples – house-made mulled wine ($70) with its own creative twist (galangal, kaffir leaf and more).
Limewood
This restaurant is always a favourite with children, being conveniently located at Repulse Bay’s The Pulse. You can enjoy a semi-traditional turkey roast with an island twist here. The 10-course festive set dinner is sure to leave you feeling merry, with dishes that include Caribbean coleslaw, sustainable New Zealand salmon tartare and a mixed berry pavlova mess (you’ll be surprised at how the kids tuck into this, even after a full meal!). This set dinner costs $450 per person (minimum of four people required).

Sip Song
Also available in Repulse Bay, Sip Song is offering a Thai feast on the beach. With a spin on classic Christmas dishes, all served family-style, you can enjoy a special main course of crispy turkey breast, along with old favourites like the vegetable green curry. You must also try the restaurant’s signature dishes including the “Don’t Tell Mom” roti pancake. Sip Song has a fabulous play area for kids with giant Jenga and other fun activities. The set menu costs $300 per person (minimum of four people required).

Mercedes me
Want something that will appeal to the man of the house? Look at Mercedes me’s traditional four-course turkey dinner that’s served against a backdrop of some sleek and fabulous Mercedes cars. After starters of whipped sweet potato hummus, and house-cured gravlax, the main course of seared turkey breast with Brussels sprouts and cranberry jus will hit the right spot! There will also be a special Grand Marnier chestnut tart and a glass of housemade spiced mulled wine (additional $70) on offer. The dinner set costs $400 per person and requires a minimum of four people.

John Anthony
If you haven’t introduced your children to Peking duck yet, you can head to John Anthony’s for Chinese-inspired festive feast that’s not to be missed. Roasted in a custom wood oven, the duck (prepared exclusively for the holiday season with a Chinese five-spice rub) promises unbeatable crispy skin and succulent meat, served alongside a host of seasonal delights. Priced at $680 per person, it requires a minimum of four people and 24-hour advance ordering.
