Join us for our first Sassy Mama’s Night Out!

Looking to leave the juice boxes and food-stained trousers at home, mamas? Us too! Strap on your favourite pair of heels, grab your mama friends and join us for Happy Hour on Monday, 3 October from 7:30pm-9:30pm at Maximal Concept’s restaurant, Fish & Meat.

Come and mingle with other mamas and enjoy a night out sans kiddos and hubby! For the first 60 ladies that arrive (and RSVP in our form below), you will receive one complimentary Fish & Meat’s signature cocktail, the Farm House Jam so make sure you get there early! Your stress will melt away as you sip on the delicious mix of vodka, homemade blueberry thyme jam and Prosecco. And then you can enjoy your second or third (or more!) glass of white or red vino or another Farm House Jam cocktail for a special happy hour price of $70!

Super sexy and chic, Fish & Meat is the perfect backdrop for you to unwind with the girls and nosh on some of their delicious nibbles like freshly seared Hokkaido scallops and the decadent black truffle risotto balls which are on the house. Yes, please! This is definitely the perfect answer for any mama who needs a good night catching up with her girlfriends!

We've been looking for clever ways for the whole family to eat more veggies.... purple pasta might do the trick! ⠀
Insta-Worthy Sweet Potato Pasta 💜
1 cup of purple sweet potato, or orange (which is easier to work with texture wise i find) steamed or roasted ⠀⠀
1-1 1/2 cup of unsweetened plant milk (but we'll use regular)⠀⠀
1 clove of roasted garlic ⠀⠀
1-2 tablespoon nutritional yeast flakes ⠀
1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegan butter ⠀
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice ⠀⠀
1 teaspoon smoked paprika ⠀⠀
pinch of sea salt (to taste) ⠀⠀
pinch of black pepper (to taste) ⠀⠀
Blend all your ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth, adjusting the thickness to your liking by adding less or more (plant) milk. Adjust seasonings to your preference also, and serve over freshly cooked pasta. This sauce is best enjoyed right away, as it can clump and change in texture after being refrigerated.⠀⠀
