Instant Goddess: The latest fall trends from Vamastyle and Revolve

Instant Goddess is still desperately clinging on to the last days of summer and still hankering after summer frocks. Yes, Yes I know it’s September and in the fashion world you should be decked out in all your Winter garb by now BUT with temperatures still regularly in the 30s here in Hong Kong your skin just simply needs to breathe… so if there’s still room in the summer wardrobe then Instant Goddess is loving the resort and swimwear at Vamastyle. Originally based in Singapore… this label knows all about dressing and surviving in the heat. The founder Kaitie Manani now finds herself back in Hong Kong ready, willing and able to dress and impress us with Vamastyle’s signature eye catching prints but in oh-so-practical and stylish designs.

Instant Goddess loves the frocks in the latest collection for every day style, but friends with the legs sans cellulite (not me) loved the shorts and everyone loved the cut of the swimwear. Ooooh and we shouldn’t forget to mention the lightweight trousers/pants in buzzy prints perfect for protecting you from those hungry mosquitos.

Instant Goddess does LOVE it when she finds a new (well new to her anyway) website that ships to Hong Kong…enter US-based Revolve similar to the likes of Shopbop and ASOS and well stocked with every fashion item you could possibly want including bags, shoes and jewellery plus of course, the usual wide range of clothing from high end designers to the more reasonably priced. Revolve also stocks beauty favourites including Butter of London and Stila. They also do good shoes from greats including Sam Edelman and Schutz.

Midweek Meal Inspiration

This week we’re loving the BLT Salad courtesy of allrecipes.com. You know what they say from humble beginnings come great things and this certainly applies to this salad… simple ingredients but big on flavour and the dressing is a winner too. Easy peasy to make and a good use of leftovers!
