Celebrate excellence

We can all agree that Hong Kong’s international school education system is one of the best places for our children to grow and learn from. With such a variety of schools to choose from, it’s important that us as parents understand the different programmes and curriculums available.

Malvern College Hong Kong (MCHK) comes from a rich heritage, with its mother school celebrating over 150 years of educating young people. Steeped in tradition with an equal importance of staying up to date with innovative and modern teaching practices, pupils are given every opportunity to reach their potential. In fact, the school thrives on a diverse pupil population because of its belief that everyone can learn from one another’s worldview and experiences. MCHK strongly believes in a holistic education where excellence is achieved in every arena from academics to sports, debating, the creative arts, social etiquette, music and drama.

As excellence is something at the heart of Malvern education, the school believes in celebrating every type of achievement whether it means academic achievement, success on the sports’ field, on the stage or in the art studio. Every aspect of the child is important and worthy of celebrating – something we can all agree on. For this very reason, MCHK is offering a variety of academic, music, sports, and visual arts scholarships and adding drama in 2019. What’s more, speaking to the importance of diversity, MCHK is also offering a number of scholarships where a pupil can demonstrate what they could offer to enhance Malvern’s international dimension. This includes the maximum level award will be 100% tuition fee remission.  The application deadline is 8 December, 2017 with assessment and interviews throughout December 2017 and January 2018. The awardees will be notified  in February 2018.

We can all attest to the fact that sending our kids to great international schools can cost an arm and a leg. Thankfully for us, MCHK also offers bursaries for families in need of additional financial support. Special consideration will be given to international and expat families who are not receiving educational allowances from their employers.
