We always have our eyes peeled for any new hotel openings in the 852, and we can’t wait for another five-star addition to Tsim Sha Tsui! Kimpton will take the place of the former Mariners’ Club, offering 492 rooms with spectacular views of the Victoria Harbour. We can’t wait to dip our toes in the infinity pool and explore its sky garden and world-class restaurants!

Soneva Secret – Haa Dhaalu, The Maldives
One of Sassy Mama’s favourite holiday destinations, we have another reason to book a getaway to The Maldives! Six Senses Forestias – Bangkok, Thailand
One with nature and easily accessible from Bangkok, Six Senses The Forestias is in fact located in a forest (one intentionally grown to rehome animals). The villas are great for families, the rooms range from three to five bedrooms and each villa comes with a private pool, rejuvenating onsen and organic gardens. Ta’aktana, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa – Labuan Bajo, Indonesia
We’re manifesting more travel to the land of beef rendang and Nasi Uduk and the new hotel opening at Labuan Bajo has us even more tempted. Paying homage to the traditions and culture of the extraordinary island of Flores, Ta’aktana is a luxe escape with family villas and overwater villas (with butler service). Lounge at the Olympic-sized swimming pool, treating the younger ones in the family to new adventures at the kids’ club or simple soak in the views (with a cocktail in hand!).

Regent Bali Canggu – Bali, Indonesia
You didn’t hear from us, but this is a resort you’d want to treat yourselves to sans kids (or a solo trip to treat yourself!). Regent has been quite the word around town in Hong Kong in 2023 and so, when we heard of its grand opening in Bali, we had to dive right in and book our calendars for the big day! With about 150 suites and villas, some of which come with private infinity pools, Regent Bali also boasts unique homeware outlets and boutiques for memorable keepsakes.
