Baby Travel App: Making Packing For Family Travel a Whole Lot Easier!

Please don’t hate me, but I just got the iPad.  I thought I was obsessed with the iPhone…but this is a-maz-ing.

I’ve been playing with my new toy nonstop and exploring all sorts of Apps — and I’ve come across one that I just have to pass along….Baby Travel.

In short – it generates packing lists for your entire family based on how long you’ll be gone and the climate of where you’re headed.  Genius!  Oh – and it’s FREE. (And note it’s for the iPhone too!)

Simply name and date your trip, identify the climate, the number of days you’ll be traveling, and list the members of your family – then let Baby Travel generate a really, really detailed packing list.  We’re talking super detailed – like do you have your health insurance cards?  What about your video camera charger?  Ziplock baggies?  Jewellery? Swimming diapers?  Simply check off the items you’ve packed and delete those that aren’t relevant and watch your packing completion percentage increase (a nice touch since these days we’ll take any little sense of accomplishment).  You can save your trip to use again, update your list with what you ended up not using so you know what you can ditch next time, and even share your list via email.

We also like the App’s selection of ‘Helpful Sounds‘  – an instant sound machine (and one less thing to pack!)
